WWU Alumni Recognition
One way to measure what kind of education a school provides is to note what kind of impact its graduates have on the world.
The Western Washington University Alumni Association recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, Western or their profession. We honor these individuals who have distinguished themselves among their peers with the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award.
The accomplishments of these outstanding Western graduates support Western’s goals of graduating students who improve the life of the community in which they live.
We encourage you to nominate individuals for the two highest honors awarded by the Alumni Association: the Lifetime Achievement Award and Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award. Please take a moment to nominate someone for one of these distinctions.
Past recipients and descriptions are available on their respective pages.
