WWU Alumni Association Scholarship Application

Applications, including transcripts and recommendations, must be completed and postmarked by March 3, 2008 to be considered. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must be one of the following:
• Full time Western student (taking a minimum of 12 credits)
• High school senior intending to become a full time Western student beginning Fall 2008
• College transfer intending to become a full time Western student beginning Fall 2008
• Applicants currently in college must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20
• Applicants currently in high school must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.60
• Applicants must be pursuing undergraduate study

PRIORITY CONSIDERATION:

• students who are relatives of Western Alumni
• students with financial need
• active students within their community, who participate in leadership building activities, provide service to others, and succeed academically

YOUR SUBMITTED APPLICATON PACKET SHOULD INCLUDE:

• Completed application         
• Transcript (official or unofficial)    
• Two letters of recommendation
