WWU Alumni Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities exist in a number of ways.

The Alumni Association is responsible for the graduation ceremonies at Western. Graduation is a big event that happens here at Western every quarter and in addition to the prep work needed to put on the event, we welcome alumni to come back and help during the graduation ceremonies.

You can volunteer to help out planning and putting on alumni chapter events or alumni association events. An example of this might be helping to put on the Really Big Weekend.

You can volunteer to be a mentor for existing students and help provide them direction on possible career paths.

Every year, the Alumni Association hosts a cleanup event in several communities for Earth Day.

In short, there are almost unlimited ways for Alumni to volunteer their time and resources and stay connected with Western. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Alumni Office.
