Earlier this season, the Viking women's basketball team recorded win no. 1,000 and is the 15th women's collegiate basketball team to reach 1,000 all-time victories at any level or division.

The Western Washington University Children's Literature Conference is celebrating its 15th Anniversary! This event has become an annual tradition for many, where teachers and librarians, readers and writers gather to celebrate and learn about children's literature.

We will provide some hearty appetizers and your first glass or beer or wine. You get to catch up with others with a common interest, enjoy great conversations and help us brainstorm future alumni outings in AZ.

At the end of every quarter we celebrate the accomplishments of the next generation of Western graduates. Volunteer an hour or two of your day to help congratulate these students and distribute caps, gowns, tickets, prizes and more! There will be music and lunch for our volunteers.

This exhibition will consist of work created by twelve Western students participating in the Metro Art Access summer 2018 course in New York City, co-taught by Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour. The work is a direct response to the city and their experience on the ground in NYC.
