The Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference is the largest most comprehensive event of its kind in the region. The purpose of the conference is to assemble scientists, First Nations and tribal government representatives, resource managers, community/business leaders, policy makers, educators and students to present the latest scientific research on the state of the ecosystem, and to guide future action for protecting and restoring the Salish Sea Ecosystem. To accomplish its purpose, the conference will feature plenary sessions with keynote speakers, concurrent sessions featuring oral presentations, poster presentations, workshops, frequent opportunities for informal networking, and related off-program events.
Early Bird Fees: December 4, 2017 through February 28, 2018
Regular Fees: March 1, 2018 through March 21, 2018
Registration Closing: March 21, 2018 at 11:59 PM with On-Site Registration at the Conference if space is available.

Student Financial Assistance Application: The Executive and Program Committees of the 2018 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference (SSEC 2018) understand the importance of student attendance and involvement at their biennial conference. The SSEC will allow students to apply for a $125 registration credit to use towards conference registration.
You must first apply for the credit and hear back from the committee BEFORE registering. Please do not register for the conference until you receive notice of your credit status.

Volunteer Application Form: To request volunteer status, complete and submit the short application here. Please do not register for the conference until you receive notice of your volunteer status. Every effort will be made to contact volunteer applicants within one week to inform them of their status and to provide them special conference registration instructions.

If your registration is being paid by your organization, then there is a way to purchase optional items using your personal credit/bank card if not covered by your employer. After registering for the event with your corporate card, use the link at the bottom of your confirmation email/receipt to reenter registration and add those items to your registration. We do not store your credit card information, so any additional items will need to be purchased by inputting the original card's information or a different card's information at billing.
