Join us to celebrate Penny Hutchinson's contributions to Dance at WWU and beyond at a tea party in her honor, followed by the 7:30 p.m. performance of Dance In Concert, featuring choreography by Penny, the Dance faculty, and guest artist Liz Gerring!

Penny came to WWU after a lengthy international performance career as a founding member of the Mark Morris Dance Group. She has shared her knowledge of the professional field of dance to inspire future generations of dance artists. Her legacy of performance, choreography, and teaching has reached countless students in the PNW and beyond. Come and share your stories, connect with other alums, and meet current students as we celebrate Penny's long career in dance.

To commemorate Penny's contributions to Dance at Western Washington University, please consider making a donation in her honor to support dance majors attending master classes and workshops in the PNW and New York City, the dance capitol of the world and Penny’s home away from home.

Current WWU Dance students will be signing garden tags for Penny. If you would like to bring a plant, we will be giving the tags and plants to Penny for her garden!
