Settle in for dinner, drinks, storytelling and conversation with Fairhaven alums and yours truly at Ristorante Picolinos in Ballard. We’ll kick off the evening at 5:30 with appetizers, light refreshment, and trying to recognize each other after so many years! Bring your old Fairhaven-era photos and we’ll scan them for sharing and archiving during the warm-up, too.
Dinner begins at 6:30, served family style. After everyone has eaten, the storytelling—“Fairhaven: Fact of Fake News”—begins with guests of honor and fact checkers Pat “Founding Mother” Karlberg, Lloyd “Founding Cousin” Adalist, and Fred “Somebody’s Nephew” Moody. Questions posed in the invitation—and shouted out from the attendees—will fuel the program.
Cost is $150. That covers the food, beer, wine, space, sound system and service, and should leave us with enough in our coffers to put on more of these gatherings.
The evening will be digitally recorded for posterity and potential blackmail. If you think you’ll be too shy to yell out questions during the storytelling, email reply with your own "lost in the fogs of time” questions and I’ll make sure they’re included.
