This forum, hosted by the Mountain Environments Research Institute, will bring together architect Laura Rose, engineer Garry Porter, mountain climbers and Everest alumni Dan Mazur and author John All. The panelists will discuss the rebuilding and revitalizing of the historic Deboche nunnery, the science of turning human waste into usable energy, the impacts of tourism on the natural landscape, and the larger cumulative effects of climate change.
I'm John All, and I'm the curator for this event. Feel free to call me via email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or comments. WWU is an equal opportunity institution. For disability accommodation, please contact me.
