Trish Harding was born in Washington State and grew up on Lummi Island. Her formal art training includes Western Washington State College and The Academy of Art College, San Francisco.

Trish shows her work in Bellingham, Skagit County, Seattle and Portland areas.

In 2017, Trish was selected as the Skagit Valley International Tulip Festival Poster Artist, which won the International Festival Golden Pinnacle Award.

Trish is the owner of the Trish Harding School of Art at Studio UFO in Bellingham where she shows and teaches. She has also facilitated the Annual Downtown Bellingham Plein Air Paint Out and Exhibition (PAPO) for 14 years. She is a past Bellingham Arts Commissioner and the former president of the Northwest Pastel Society. She has taught for the Creative Arts Community at Menuch in the Portland area for 14 years.

Trish works in oil, pastel and charcoal. She is well known for her dynamic figure drawings and has taught Figure Drawing and Pastel at Whatcom Community College for over 20 years. Her “Figure Drawing Wall at Studio UFO” is a crowd favorite during robust Downtown Bellingham First Friday Art Walks.

She is an art trip leader to various places in the world including Paris France, San Miguel Mexico, Yellowstone Park, Victoria Canada and Ghost Ranch New Mexico.

She and her pal Deb McCunn have been the trip leaders for all of Whatcom Community College’s Art Road Trip for many years, taking large groups of people to places like Seattle Art Museum, Pilchuck Glass School, Tacoma Art District & Museum of Glass, Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum, the Museum of Anthropology in British Columbia, Matzke Gallery, MONA LaConner and Vancouver Art Gallery Canada.
