Volunteer to Help a Seattle Landmark

People planting trees and volunteering to clean up a park

Calling Western Alums!

Cheasty Boulevard is part of Seattle's Olmsted parks system and is in need of maintenance work. As a Western alum, you know how important it is to protect and preserve our natural world, and you know the importance of service to your community.

In celebration and recognition of Huxley's 50th Year Celebration, join Huxley and other area alumni for a day of service on MLK Day by spreading wood chips on trails and removing blackberry vines and other invasive plants. You may also clear new parts of the site to help uncover the Olmsted’s original plan.

Come help protect and preserve a Seattle landmark!
