Where do I park?

Well if you're like us and don't have a personal driver, feel free to leave your car in ANY campus non-reserved lots! We took the liberty of giving each of you access to our prime spots from 3 p.m. on Friday, May 17th until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th for FREE. Score! (Plus, all of the C lots are free all day Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Click here for a printable Parking Map!

Where do I go to register at the event?

Day-of registration will be available at Flag Plaza (next to Wade King Rec Center) starting at 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Here you will be able to sign up for the brunch (limited day of registrations will be available however), purchase tickets to the planetarium shows (if available), along with other weekend activities.

Where are the information booths?

Info booths will be staffed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Flag Plaza, Haskell Plaza, and Red Square (just look for blue Western tents). This booth is "home base" and provides basic first aid, and answers to any questions you may have.

What should I wear?

Get Your Blue On! Wear your best WWU gear of course. But, as always, Bellingham weather can be a little unpredictable so bring a jacket, sunscreen, parka, shorts, scuba gear, raincoat and anything else we might have forgotten. (But don't bring an don't want to look like a tourist!) Just make sure you check the forecast, wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

Will there be food?

Alumni Weekend will start with the Weekend Welcome Brunch (registration required). If you are attending a reunion, most of the reunions will also have snacks available. Many of the eateries and cafes on campus will be open on Saturday, for more information, check out the calendar located here. You can be sure to find something that hits the spot for the right price.

Of course, after hitting campus, downtown has plenty of places to eat too, and are prepared to feed the onslaught of Vikings.

What if I forgot my sweet WWU gear?

Never fear, the A.S. Bookstore is here! And will be open that Saturday and if you are an WWU Alumni Association member, you can receive 20% off emblematic gear (does not include emblematic gifts)!

What is Spring into Western (aka the admissions schedule)?

We have a number of special events and sessions geared to Alumni Weekend participants interested in learning more about the college search process and applying to WWU, the greatest university on earth.
