All guests are required to check in at PAC Plaza from 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday the 19th to receive their all-access wristband (it gets you into everything), your free gift and any additional purchased tickets. Then grab a mimosa, juice, coffee or tea and scones before going to the Presidential Welcome!

Your registration ($15 for ages 8 & up - free for under 8) gives you a cool wristband. It will get you access to: Presidential Welcome with mimosas, Junior Viking Blast Pass, Downtown Bellingham Market in Red Square, climbing wall, rides on the 250' zipline, Lunch on Old Main Lawn (free food!), Party in the Library (even better, free food AND drinks!) !

Plus, free for anyone: Open Houses, Campus tours, Carver Gym tours, movie on Old Main Lawn, Sehome Hill tour, Riding Low in the 3-6-0 lowrider show, Western Relay for Life, most reunions, and more.

Some things that require extra registration or tickets: Planetarium shows, Kayaking, and a few other events.

Call the box office if you want to purchase additional tickets to any great activities at (360) 650-6146.

An info booth will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in Red Square (just look for blue Western tents.) This booth is "home base" and provides basic first aid, and answers to any questions you may have.

Get Your Blue On! Wear your best WWU gear of course. But, as always, Bellingham weather can be a little unpredictable so bring a jacket, sunscreen, parka, shorts, scuba gear, raincoat and anything else we might have forgotten. (But don't bring an umbrella...you don't want to look like a tourist!) Just make sure you check the forecast, wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

The Junior Viking Blast Pass program is free to all Alumni Weekend registrants. This year though is a little different, we have specific kids activities! Children grades K-5 will have the opportunity to participate in the kids activities with our trained and background-checked college students. Kids activities start at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 2:00 p.m.

There’s plenty for adults, including Open Houses for each College (check out current student projects, meet current faculty and staff, and meet the Dean), the art gallery, sea kayaking, planetarium shows, and more. Of course, don’t miss out on the Party in the Library, and then head to the movie on Old Main Lawn to finish off your Saturday.

Alumni Weekend includes food with your all-access bracelet including the Lunch on Old Main Lawn and Party in the Library, but you never know when hunger may strike! Most of the eateries and cafes on campus will be open and several local vendors will be on campus in Red Square on Saturday. You can be sure to find something that hits the spot for the right price.

Of course, after hitting campus, downtown has plenty of places to eat too, and are prepared to feed the onslaught of Vikings.

Box office hours: 11 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday; 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (PAC) on Saturday; closed on Sunday.

To buy tickets to any of the shows go to tickets.wwu.edu/ or call 360-650-6146.

Never fear, the A.S. Bookstore is here! And will be open throughout the weekend with a special 20% off emblematic gear (does not include emblematic gifts) for Alumni Weekend participants with a wristband!

We have a number of special events and sessions geared to Alumni Weekend participants interested in learning more about the college search process and applying to WWU, the greatest university on earth.
