Rich will catch you up on what's new in the WWU Theatre Department and the accomplishments of our faculty and students while you enjoy connecting with Western!

Rich Brown

Rich Brown, PhD

Professor of Acting and Movement - Chair, Theatre & Dance

Professor Rich Brown landed at Western Washington University in 2006 where he currently teaches psychophysical acting, Suzuki, Viewpoints, commedia, and devising. Rich is an associate artist with professional devising companies hand2mouth (Portland) and Blessed Unrest (NYC).

Christopher Bianco

Christopher Bianco, DMA

Dean, College of Fine & Performing Arts

Dr. Bianco brings a diverse background to the podium and to his students in the classroom. Dr. Bianco is President Elect of the Northwest Region of the College Band Director's National Association. Additionally, he recently completed a term as the Higher Education Curriculum Officer for the Executive Board of the Washington Music Educator's Association. Christopher now holds the position of Director of Bands at Western Washington University.

Sabah Randhawa

Sabah Randhawa

President, Western Washington University

Sabah Randhawa began service as the 14th President of Western Washington University on August 1, 2016. He draws on more than three decades of distinguished service in higher education as an educator and an academic leader. Randhawa’s top priority at Western has been advancing student success and inclusive excellence.
