On behalf of the Theta Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society at Western Washington University, we would like to cordially invite you to the Annual Accounting Spring Banquet.
The 2023 Spring Banquet is an opportunity to network with accounting professionals, accounting students, alumni, and faculty. It is also a platform to acknowledge and honor those with outstanding achievements and celebrate our new officers. The event features keynote speaker Chris Work, Chief Financial Officer, Zumiez.
The Accounting Society Spring Banquet will be held at the Bellingham Yacht Club in Bellingham on Thursday, May 18th, 2023. Activities will begin with a social at 6:00 p.m., which will be followed by dinner and presentations starting at 6:30 p.m. Attire is business or business casual.
We're excited to announce that we'll be bringing back The Dessert Dash, our Spring Banquet fundraising activity! Be prepared to bid on the best dessert!

Chris Work, CFO, Zumiez
Christopher C. Work, has served as Chief Financial Officer at Zumiez since August 2012. Mr. Work has been employed with the Company since October 2007, where he last served as Vice President, Controller. From September 2002 to October 2007, Mr. Work was an employee of Ernst & Young LLP, obtaining the level of Manager. Mr. Work received a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Accountancy from Western Washington University. Mr. Work is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington.
