Join us anytime between August 30th-September 13th and complete a 5K.
Join the Western community for a fun, active opportunity to support the WWU Alumni Scholarship Fund, and win prizes!
You will have 2 weeks, between August 30th-September 13th to complete 5 kilometres (3.1 miles), in any location and format you choose! Get started:
1. Register. You will receive a custom race bib to print out at home! Take a picture with your bib, and share to social media with the hashtag #2023WWUViking5K.
All registrants will receive an exclusive 2023 Viking 5K t-shirt once the race is completed.
2. Invite friends to join you, share this invitation, within and beyond the Western community!
3. Complete your race. Submit your results by email or online, with or without a time included.
4. WIN! There are 2 opportunities to win a prize giveaway. Enter yourself in one or both! All participants who upload their results will be entered into a random drawing for a giveaway! All participants who post on social media and use the #2023WWUViking5K will also be entered into a random drawing for giveaway!
Help raise support for Student Scholarships. Invite others to support the Fund. 100% of every dollar raised through your registration fee and fundraising will go to a Scholarship Fund!
