One Day MBA Speaker Series

Brought to you by:
WWU MBA Program

It’s hard to understand what’s happening in the economy today. It all seems weird. Food prices are up, but unemployment is at a 50 year low. Interest rates are up, but compared to previous decades, they are still pretty low. What does it all mean? WWU MBA faculty member and Professor of Economics Ozan Sula, PhD will help us try and figure it out.

SPEAKER

Ozan Sula, PhD

Ozan Sula received his PhD in Economics from Claremont Graduate University in 2006. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses including business statistics, international finance, macroeconomics, and money and banking. His research interests cover the behavior of international capital flows, central bank international reserve policies and financial crises in emerging market economies.

MODERATOR

Mark Staton, PhD

Mark teaches digital marketing (undergraduate) and marketing strategy (MBA) at the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University. He is the director of the MBA program which has daytime and evening programs in Bellingham and a weekend program in Everett.
