Jaimes Valdez will share his experience in the development and evolution of the Portland Clean Energy Fund. Passed by Portland voters in 2018, this local program is designed to address climate action through a lens of social and racial justice, with investments in clean energy projects, green infrastructure, transportation decarbonization, and workforce development. Through grantmaking and strategic programs designed with community input, PCEF will deploy over $1 billion in the next 5 years.
