Description

Calling all WWU Theatre Alums in NYC!

Greetings from WWU! As the Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Western Washington University, I am excited to invite you to an upcoming production of Misconceptions by Stephen Wangh at 5PM on Sunday, May 21st at Theater 122CC in the East Village. I am currently on professional leave in the city and am excited to be performing in my third show with Blessed Unrest Theatre.

This thought-provoking play explores the complex topic of abortion from multiple perspectives, incorporating real interviews and events alongside surreal elements. Our production promises to be emotionally charged, and we believe it will resonate with our audience in a profound way.

We would like to extend an invitation to you and your plus-one to join myself and the Dean of the College of Fine and Performing Arts, Christopher Bianco, for the show, then join us for a post-performance alumni party at The Immigrant from 7:00 to 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity to (re)connect with fellow WWU Theatre grads living in NYC and enjoy some terrific theatre followed by community connection.

Please share this landing page with other alums you know living in the NYC, we don’t want to miss anyone! We look forward to seeing you in the theatre!

Best regards,

Rich Brown
