Lakewood and Campus Discounts

Your WWU Alumni Association membership provides you exclusive access to Lakewood, Western's watersports home that is not open to the general public. Membership also provides you a discount on rental fees for use of the boats and equipment. The Lakewood facility is funded by the Associated Students through tuition and fees, therefore, effective July 1, 2018, community members will pay differentiated pricing for equipment rental at Lakewood.

Lakewood is located approximately 7 miles from Western's main campus at 2410 Lake Whatcom Blvd.

Only Western Alumni Association members have the opportunity to purchase membership to this state-of-the-art facility. Unlike other Alumni Association member benefits, you must be a WWU degreed alumnus or President's Society member to join.

New season ticket holders receive 20% off for the first year only. Discount is not eligible to members who are current or past season ticket holders at any time. Discount applicable for the first year only. Season tickets will be full price after first-year eligibility. Benefits for season ticket holders include:

• Reserved seating and parking
• Playoff ticket priority
• Invitation to special events
• Shuttle service from South Campus gravel lots at Fairhaven College to the front door of Carver Gym

Members enjoy borrowing privileges at the Wilson Libraries and access to the research, journals and materials available in print. Up to 100 physical items can be checked out at a time and holds can be placed for these items. Electronic resources and interlibrary loan options are not available at this time.

Discounted tickets on all College of Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) events are provided to Alumni Association members by calling (360) 650-6141 or purchasing tickets in person at the Performing Arts Center Box Office.

*All Western students, staff and faculty have access to these facilities and do not require an Alumni Association membership to access these services. Does not allow access to Intramurals.
